For over 40 years, Vitabiotics has been a pioneer in the development and innovation of vitamins and mineral supplements. Vitabiotics has a portfolio of excellent products and is the market leader in its segment in the United Kingdom. Vitabiotics was founded in 1971 by Dr Kartar Lalvani. In the 1980’s, the company invested in research that resulted in reference products such as Pregnacare Osteocare and Menopace. In the 90’s, these same products became the market leader in their categories.

In 2001, Vitabiotics wins the BT VISION 100 AWARD as one of the 100 visionary companies in the UK. Two years later, achieves a new win reinforcing its position as a qualified and innovative company, winning for the first time the prestigious QUEEN'S AWARD FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE award and again in 2008, currently exporting to more than 100 countries. In 2013 and later in 2020, the QUEEN’S AWARD FOR INNOVATION was awarded to Vitabiotics for its distinction in vitamin research. Today, Vitabiotics is UK's number one vitamin supplement company.
